• Ability to manage OS and SMR updates: Now IT admins can test software updates with in-house apps prior to installation. 

• Updates to network settings: Our latest network settings allow our customers to control which Wi-FI networks devices can use, which helps prevent malicious network attacks.

• Ready For security: We've added the ability for our customers to control Ready For settings. This brings an additional layer of security to our Ready For platform, making it possible to allow or disallow certain functionalities, like Ready For PC or usage on external display, as well as customized screen timeouts to to protect against unauthorized access or simply to keep someone from looking at your screen if you step away.

• Security Policy Management: Customers can also set specific security policies, including blocking factory reset and power off, to prevent unwanted users from bypassing company policies.

The Thinkshield for mobile OEMConfig app is available on the PlayStore and can be easily installed and used with EMMs (Enterprise Mobility Management), bringing advanced capabilities to manage Motorola devices. As of today, it is available on our new edge smartphones, with more to be added in the future.

While all our new edge devices are protected by ThinkShield for mobile, we’re also bringing to the market Business Edition versions of our motorola edge 20 lite and motorola edge 20, so our B2B users get even more protection with additional software and security updates and government-grade certifications. In addition, we recently partnered with Zimperium, one of the global leaders in mobile security, to offer Moto Threat Defense, an industry-leading AI-based protection against emerging threats like phishing or malware.
