Motorola joins U-20 World Cup™ in Chile as the official smartphone partner

The company will be activating the brand on and off the pitch during the tournament

Motorola, a Lenovo company, is excited to be the official smartphone partner of the FIFA  U-20 World Cup™ in Chile, reinforcing its commitment to celebrating the next generation of football talent on a global stage.

The FIFA U-20 World Cup™ provides a unique opportunity to spotlight emerging players while inspiring millions of fans across continents. This is part of the larger Motorola and Lenovo partnership with FIFA, which will extend to the FIFA World Cup 26™ in Canada, Mexico, and the United States and the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™ in Brazil.

During the tournament, Motorola will leverage its iconic brand and deliver activations both on and off the pitch, designed to engage fans across the globe. On-site marketing initiatives will include Motorola-branded content displayed across field-level LED boards and stadium video screens before, during, and after each match, ensuring the brand is visible at key moments of the tournament.

Fans around the world will also be able to connect with Motorola through global social media campaigns, while the company will be working with football content creators and players from the qualified teams to engage with its consumers, bringing the excitement of the tournament into everyday interactions. Motorola smartphones are also being integrated throughout the competition.

Motorola will support FIFA and all 24 of the qualified teams competing across 52 matches. The tournament takes place in Chile from September 27 – October 19, 2025.
