At MWC 2026, Motorola announced two new earbuds, the moto buds 2 plus and the moto buds 2, that offer next-generation audio experiences in a sleek design with Pantone colors. They help users focus at work or school with Dynamic ANC, uncover deeper details in their favorite songs or movies through advanced audio systems and stay connected to their surroundings with smart features and controls. 

The moto buds 2 plus produce pure sound and zero distractions

Built for users who are constantly pivoting between their personal and professional lives, taking work calls on the go, exercising at a moment’s notice or unwinding at home, the moto buds 2 plus have what they need to maximize every activity. These earbuds keep users engaged through Sound by Bose technology and tuned into their environments with Dynamic ANC and smart audio functions.

Expertly-tuned Sound by Bose technology surrounds users in a sound that’s rich, balanced and emotionally resonant. For a layered, detailed audio experience, 11mm drivers offer full-bodied bass, while balanced armatures from Knowles add clarity and precision. When on the go, users can achieve high-quality, distortion-free sound wirelessly, thanks to Hi-Res Audio with Low-Latency High-Definition Audio Codec (LHDC) support. It sounds more immersive, too, due to Spatial Audio.2

To keep consumers focused yet alert, the moto buds 2 plus offer Dynamic ANC. This technology removes external noise and distractions, making it easy for users to work from a coffee shop or take a call on their commute. For clear-sounding virtual meetings and calls, six microphones with Environmental Noise Cancellation and high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) cut through ambient noise to deliver crisp audio. If they want to enhance this even further, consumers can go to the Moto Buds app to enable CrystalTalk AI3 which uses advanced AI noise reduction to clarify one’s voice in loud environments.

Users can expect up to 9 hours1 of playtime on a single charge and up to 40 hours1 of total battery life with the charging case. For additional flexibility, these modern multitaskers can use Dual Connection3 to keep them paired to two devices and seamlessly switch between them. They can leave the office, hop on a train and transfer their call from their laptop to their phone instantly. When they’re with a friend, users can turn to Audio Share,3 and connect two sets of moto buds 2 plus to one phone, so they can enjoy the same music, movie or podcast. The moto buds 2 plus also feature Wear Detection,3 which automatically pauses one’s music or content when users take out their earbuds. This means no awkward pauses or fumbling around with one’s phone to stop the sound.

Consumers can also customize their controls to reflect what they use most. They can set their buds to either play, pause, skip a track, answer calls or launch a voice assistant whenever they tap them. On compatible Motorola devices, users can also activate moto ai4 by simply holding and pressing their moto buds. They can stay up to date on their notifications with Catch me up, leverage Pay attention to record, transcribe or summarize their meetings and even ask their buds to recall specific details and information when using Remember this. Consumers can also access AI-powered translation5 through their buds on select devices, keeping pace with their busy lifestyle and those they meet along the way. 

The moto buds 2 let users experience clarity and escape the noise

For students walking to class, young professionals on their lunch break or any music-lover who wants an everyday earbud, they can find their audio essentials with the moto buds 2. The advanced audio system combines with Dynamic ANC to keep out distractions while smart features and up to 48 hours1 of total battery backup, including the case, create a fulfilling sound experience.

The moto buds 2 couple premium 11mm Dynamic Drivers and 6mm Micro Planar Magnetic Drivers with Hi-Res audio support. This adds depth, fullness and details to users’ anticipated albums, binge-worthy shows and niche podcasts. Consumers get realistic details and clarity with Hi-Res Audio and LHDC, while Spatial Audio2 provides free-flowing, immersive sound, regardless of the content.

Dynamic ANC (up to 55dB)6 puts users in control of their sound, keeping background noise out of important calls. The moto buds 2 also have enough power for an action-packed day, featuring up to 11 hours1 of playback and a total of up to 48 hours1 of battery life with the charging case for ultimate flexibility. When users need to charge their moto buds 2 but only have a moment to spare, they can get 3 hours1 of playback in just 10 minutes of charging.7 

To make each day even smoother, the moto buds 2 offer various smart features. With Dual Connection,3 users can connect their moto buds 2 to their phone or laptop and effortlessly move between the two. No pairing or reconnecting needed, thanks to Bluetooth® 6.0 delivering stronger connectivity and improved speeds. Out of the box, the new moto g power runs on Android 16 and features Motorola’s signature software suite—including Moto Secure,6 Moto Unplugged,6 Family Space, ThinkShield, and Hello UX—to help users personalize their device experience while keeping their information protected. Plus, moto g power users can instantly find out more about what’s on their screen with Google’s Circle to Search, or use Google Gemini18 to supercharge ideas, send texts, set reminders, and more.

Availability

In the United States, the new moto g power – 2026 will be available universally unlocked at Best Buy, Amazon.com, and motorola.com on January 8 (MSRP: $299.99).19 The device will also be available at Verizon on January 8 and at Cricket Wireless, Tracfone, Visible, Total Wireless, Straight Talk, Simple Mobile and AT&T in the coming months. 

In Canada, the new moto g power – 2026 will be available starting January 8 at motorola.ca (MSRP: $449.99).

Motorola expands the moto things portfolio with the launch of moto buds bass

The moto buds bass combine powerful, bass-driven sound with long-lasting performance and everyday durability. They bring an extra punch to consumers’ favorite tracks, creating deep lows and clear highs. Built for life on the go, the moto buds bass provide up to nine hours of playtime per charge and up to 43 hours with the case, plus two hours of playback from just 10 minutes of charging.6 Each earbud features a triple-microphone system with CrystalTalk AI, delivering clearer calls through echo cancellation, ambient noise suppression and wind noise reduction. moto ai: A Day in the Life with Coco Jones

In a world where AI is quickly becoming a buzzword and new features are appearing seemingly overnight, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. That’s why Motorola is taking a thoughtful, intentional approach to moto ai. We are delivering a tailored group of deliberate and user-driven features, designed to evolve with the user over time and become their proactive, intuitive companion. 

What does this actually look like in action? Let’s see how Grammy-winning singer, songwriter and actress Coco Jones as she uses her razr 60 ultra and moto ai to keep pace with her jam-packed days.

  • 8:00am: First thing in the morning as she’s waking up, she uses Look and Talk to wake up her razr right alongside her. All it takes is a simple glance, and the camera sensors turn on moto ai for speedy, hands-free assistance. Without getting out of bed or lifting a finger, Coco accesses Catch Me Up by voice command, which brings her up to speed on her calendar of appointments for the day and all the calls and family group chat messages she missed since falling asleep.
  • 9:00am: To make sure she hits her morning workout on time, she simply asks her phone to “show YouTube on my TV,” which immediately connects the video she’s viewing to her TV screen using Smart Connect. 
  • 10:30am: Time for a post-workout caffeinated pick-me-up. Remember This automatically analyzes and tags your screenshots, photos and notes so they’re easy to recall when you need them in a pinch. This morning, she asks her razr “remind me what coffee order Jalen recommended,” and moto ai instantly lets her know it’s a lavender oat milk latte.
  • 2:00pm: Once afternoon hits, Coco heads over to meet with her stylist to go over picks for her performance at the Motorola launch party that night, and she snaps some selfies and videos using the gesture-based controls on the camera. All it takes is showing her open palm to the camera to start a countdown timer, and 3…2…1…action! Hands-free selfies mean more freedom for cute poses. She’s then prompted with Next Move, which suggests the best AI actions tailored to what’s currently on your screen. 
  • 5:00pm: Since it’s time to get glam for the big show, she selects Playlist Studio which curates the perfect “getting ready” tunes. Looking performance-ready, Coco snaps a few more hands-free selfies before stepping on stage.
