Today, Motorola, a Lenovo company, announced the motorola edge 70, alongside the new moto g57 power, moto g57 and the moto buds bass, packing in power, durability and style at multiple price points. The motorola edge 70 is the first of the edge 70 generation and defies the impossible from a design standpoint. At 5.99mm thick, the motorola edge 70 is the thinnest device in its category1 without compromising across design, battery and more. The latest moto g devices also feature a well-balanced blend of specs, ranging from the Sony LYTIA™ 600 camera system to exceptional durability. And on the moto g57 power specifically, users can expect a massive 7000mAh4 high-energy density silicon-carbon battery with over two days of power.7

Introducing the motorola edge 70, impossibly thin and thoughtfully crafted

The motorola edge 70 debuts an ultrathin design with an unforgettable finish. The device feels almost weightless in hand, making it easy to hold while reading in bed or jogging in the morning. Its slender profile is also crucial to the device’s breakthrough aesthetic. Pairing an aircraft-grade aluminum frame with a nylon-inspired finish, the motorola edge 70 is modern yet warm and exudes effortless confidence. Aside from brilliant images, moto ai2 also helps users receive answers to time-sensitive questions and generate custom visuals. It does so by capturing the everyday details users want to remember and preserving the priceless moments they don’t want to forget. The Next Move capability understands what’s on a user’s screen and helps them research or take action instantly. It has options to activate Playlist Studio2 for a custom playlist based on one’s display or use Image Studio13 to turn one’s imagination into images, stickers, avatars and wallpapers. Users can also utilize advanced features like Catch me up, Pay attention and Remember this to enhance productivity and save important information.

Motorola expands the moto things portfolio with the launch of moto buds bass

The moto buds bass combine powerful, bass-driven sound with long-lasting performance and everyday durability. Built for life on the go, the moto buds bass provide up to nine hours of playtime per charge and up to 43 hours with the case, plus two hours of playback from just 10 minutes of charging.6 Each earbud features a triple-microphone system with CrystalTalk AI, delivering clearer calls through echo cancellation, ambient noise suppression and wind noise reduction. In Canada, the new moto g – 2026 will be available starting December 11 at motorola.ca with subsequent availability at select carriers and national retailers.

In a world where AI is quickly becoming a buzzword and new features are appearing seemingly overnight, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. That’s why Motorola is taking a thoughtful, intentional approach to moto ai. We are delivering a tailored group of deliberate and user-driven features, designed to evolve with the user over time and become their proactive, intuitive companion. 

What does this actually look like in action? Let’s see how Grammy-winning singer, songwriter and actress Coco Jones as she uses her razr 60 ultra and moto ai to keep pace with her jam-packed days.

  • 8:00am: First thing in the morning as she’s waking up, she uses Look and Talk to wake up her razr right alongside her. All it takes is a simple glance, and the camera sensors turn on moto ai for speedy, hands-free assistance. Without getting out of bed or lifting a finger, Coco accesses Catch Me Up by voice command, which brings her up to speed on her calendar of appointments for the day and all the calls and family group chat messages she missed since falling asleep.
  • 9:00am: To make sure she hits her morning workout on time, she simply asks her phone to “show YouTube on my TV,” which immediately connects the video she’s viewing to her TV screen using Smart Connect. 
  • 10:30am: Time for a post-workout caffeinated pick-me-up. Remember This automatically analyzes and tags your screenshots, photos and notes so they’re easy to recall when you need them in a pinch. This morning, she asks her razr “remind me what coffee order Jalen recommended,” and moto ai instantly lets her know it’s a lavender oat milk latte.
  • 2:00pm: Once afternoon hits, Coco heads over to meet with her stylist to go over picks for her performance at the Motorola launch party that night, and she snaps some selfies and videos using the gesture-based controls on the camera. All it takes is showing her open palm to the camera to start a countdown timer, and 3…2…1…action! Hands-free selfies mean more freedom for cute poses. She’s then prompted with Next Move, which suggests the best AI actions tailored to what’s currently on your screen. 
  • 5:00pm: Since it’s time to get glam for the big show, she selects Playlist Studio which curates the perfect “getting ready” tunes. Looking performance-ready, Coco snaps a few more hands-free selfies before stepping on stage.

Motorola users now have new ways to share their social-ready images on Instagram, perfect for photographers and creatives alike. 

On the motorola razr 60 ultra/motorola razr ultra, Instagram now supports the laptop mode, which means users can fully take advantage of the device’s camera Flex View positions. This gives consumers access to new angles, hands-free selfies and vlog-style videos, directly through the app. Users can also post their beautifully-vibrant photos with Ultra High Dynamic Range (UHDR) on Instagram, which offers brighter highlights, deeper shadows and fuller tones. Thanks to this third-party optimization, images taken on one’s razr can be shared to Instagram with the same UHDR image quality they see on their phone. Users can also capture UHDR images within the Instagram app directly. 

For motorola edge 60 pro users, they can now take a photo in the Motorola camera app, and post on Instagram with the vivid colors of UHDR. This enhancement produces ultra-radiant photos for more vibrant, shareable posts.

Motorola unveils Microsoft Copilot Vision built into moto ai, turning one’s camera into a gateway for real-time discovery

The Copilot app1 will now come pre-installed on the latest Motorola devices with Copilot Vision now integrated within moto ai for fast, seamless access to powerful, visual intelligence

Today, Motorola launches Microsoft Copilot Vision within moto ai2,3 for select devices3 in the U.S. and other select countries,4 enhancing its existing Microsoft partnership and Copilot capabilities. Copilot Vision lets people get the most out of their daily observations; they can show Copilot their surroundings using their camera lens and ask it questions in real-time. 

Copilot Vision speaks to users in an encouraging way and with visual understanding, helping curious consumers improve their homes, explore their hobbies or travel more efficiently just by pointing their camera. For example, plant-loving Motorola users can use their device’s front or back camera to analyze their plant’s health real-time. And razr users can do this directly from the external display or in tent mode, getting their questions answered without needing to flip open the device. 

When it comes to privacy, users can feel comfortable knowing that they’re in full control and that they must invoke Copilot Vision to access the device camera or microphone. Plus, Motorola users will be able to test out Copilot Vision’s capabilities before needing to sign into Copilot.

Motorola grows patch partnership roster with rising tennis star McCartney Kessler

As the tennis world turns its eyes to the grass courts of Wimbledon, Motorola is excited to announce a new partnership with No. 30 ranked US women’s tennis player McCartney Kessler.

Debuting at the most prestigious tournament on the tennis calendar, the iconic Motorola “batwing” logo will serve as the exclusive commercial patch on the front of Kessler’s match uniform. Through this strategic, multi-year collaboration, the 25-year-old will also connect with fans across North America through the lens of the world’s #1 selling flip phone – the motorola razr.

“There’s no better way to strengthen Motorola’s presence in women’s sports than by partnering with one of tennis’ brightest rising stars – McCartney Kessler – and showcasing our shared passion for performance and connection,” said Rudi Kalil, President of Motorola North America. “Kessler’s rapid rise on the WTA Tour has been nothing short of remarkable, and I’m thrilled that Motorola’s innovation can help bring her story to even more fans around the world.”

After making her Tour-level main draw debut in Auckland in early 2024, Kessler quickly followed up with her first Grand Slam match win at the Australian Open. That summer, she broke through in a big way—winning her maiden WTA title in Cleveland, capturing a WTA 125 title in Puerto Vallarta, and breaking into the Top 100 for the first time, peaking at No. 63 in August. She kicked off 2025 by winning her second WTA title in Hobart, then added another in Nottingham, climbing to No. 32 in the rankings. With back-to-back seasons of breakout results, Kessler is proving she belongs among the game’s rising stars.

Motorola expands finding capabilities with moto tag, now featuring Ultra Wideband (UWB) for precise, nearby finding

Last summer, Motorola expanded its ecosystem of connected devices with the launch of moto tag, a sleek Bluetooth and Ultra Wideband (UWB)-enabled tracker designed to help users keep tabs on their most important belongings—anytime, anywhere.

With Google’s recent addition of UWB support to Find Hub, the moto tag is the first Find Hub compatible tag on the market to unlock this new era of spatial awareness and accuracy. When paired with compatible Android smartphones like the new razr 60 ultra/razr ultra and the motorola edge 50 ultra, users can take advantage of directional tracking that guides them to their tagged item with pinpoint precision, whether it’s hidden under a couch cushion or left behind at a café.1,4 This brings a new sense of confidence and control to users who rely on the moto tag to keep up with their valuables no matter where life takes them.

Built to work seamlessly with Google’s Find Hub network, a crowdsourced platform with over a billion Android devices globally, moto tag offers reliable location updates nearly anywhere in the world.¹ Whether it’s keys, a backpack, or checked luggage, moto tag delivers  peace of mind by letting users view their item’s crowdsourced location directly in the Find Hub app.

Moto tag also features a dedicated multifunctional button. A simple press rings the user’s smartphone, helping them easily find a misplaced device. Another useful function is the ability to use the tag as a remote to capture photos on a Motorola phone, making it easy to get the perfect shot without needing to hold the phone or use a timer. This feature works with any Android phone and is particularly useful when snapping photos with the new motorola razr family in flex view.¹

Privacy is top of mind with the moto tag. That’s why it works with the Find Hub network, which was built by Google as protected by default and private by design. Device location data is end-to-end encrypted, which means only the tag owner or anyone with whom the owner has shared the tag within Find Hub can view the tag’s location. Leaning on Google’s expertise in privacy and security, the moto tag is also compatible with automatic unknown tracker alerts across Android and iOS to help keep users safeguarded from unwanted tracking. Users also have the option of running a manual scan at any time to check for any unwanted tags following them.

Moto tag is quick to set up with Google Fast Pair, and the companion app offers customization options such as naming tags, adjusting alert sounds, checking battery life, and more. Designed with real life in mind, it’s IP67-rated for water and dust resistance,³ works with most third-party accessories, and uses a replaceable CR2032 battery engineered to last up to a year on a single charge.²

With the addition of UWB, moto tag delivers one of the most comprehensive finding experiences available on Android today—combining global reach, directional precision, and user-first privacy features into one compact and versatile device.4
