Giving users recommendations in real-time, Next Move recognizes what’s on one’s screen, such as a recipe or itinerary, and offers suggestions for next steps. This could include saving important details to recall later, generating a playlist based on the recipe they’re viewing with Playlist Studio or tapping into Image Studio11 for an image, avatar, wallpaper or sticker that’s inspired by their upcoming trip.
Plus, with Smart Connect with AI, they can use a simple voice or text command like “show me this on my TV,” and stream to a TV,12 mirror to a PC or tablet13 or launch a multitasking hub.

Our commitment to sustainability
At Motorola, we are working to provide smarter technology that builds a brighter future, while achieving sustainability goals as part of Lenovo Group. The new devices of our edge family incorporated a range of recycled materials into the phone’s design, including recycled aluminum. As an example, the aluminum used in the motorola edge 60 pro and motorola edge 60 middle frames are 100% recycled.19 Beyond its sustainable design, both devices also boast an Energy Efficiency Class A rating.

Pushing Boundaries: Motorola and Corning’s North Pole Expedition

At Motorola, a Lenovo company, we’re constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with mobile technology, and our latest collaboration with Corning Incorporated takes that mission to a whole new level. By combining our unparalleled innovation with Corning’s expertise in glass technology, we embarked on a unique journey to the North Pole to test the limits of the camera technology and overall durability of some of our newest smartphones —the motorola razr+/ razr 50 ultra and motorola edge 50 ultra.
Motorola followed Po Ki Yuen, a recently retired Corning engineer and adventure photography enthusiast, on his journey to one of the Earth’s most remote and challenging environments. The North Pole expedition was more than an adventure—it was a real-world test of how these cutting-edge devices could perform under extreme conditions. Motorola’s sleek smartphones, equipped with exceptionally durable Corning® Gorilla® Glass, were put to the ultimate test while on this journey: the unpredictable weather of the Arctic.*
“There’s beauty everywhere on the planet, even in the toughest conditions. I want to capture all of it,” said Po Ki. “Not only was the North Pole a physically tough environment, but the remoteness challenged me mentally as well. Motorola introduces world’s first smartphones to feature Pantone™ Validated camera and display

Validations strengthen Motorola’s partnership with Pantone and extends color accuracy and expertise beyond hardware
The power of color is undeniable. Influencing what we wear and even how we think and feel, color is at the root of our every day. At Motorola, this belief has fueled our device approach and inspired our Pantone partnership. Since 2022, we’ve incorporated Pantone across our portfolio, bringing its impactful shades to consumers. From the motorola razr 40 ultra/razr+ sporting the Pantone Color of the Year 2024, PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz, to the motorola edge 40 neo debuting a full lineup of Pantone-curated colors, and the PANTONE 18-1750Viva Magenta moto g84 5G, consumers can choose a smartphone based on Pantone to reflect their personal aesthetic, regardless of budget or style preference.
Today, Motorola is moving beyond color and finish selection and pulling Pantone’s expertise into the device display and camera tuning with Pantone™ Validated and Pantone SkinTone™ Validated. These patent pending technology programs test a manufacturer’s device to ensure authentic, Pantone colors and skin tones. To pass Pantone’s strict grading criteria, the product’s camera or display must maintain the color fidelity of the diverse colors found in the Pantone PMS and SkinTone guides.
Essential for content creators, photographers and designers, these programs give consumers true colors that can help them tap into their creativity and bring their ideas to life. As reflected within the device technology, Pantone’s display and camera assessments are recognized on the new motorola edge 50 ultra and motorola edge 50 pro – the first world smartphones to receive these program accolades.

moto buds+ will be on sale starting from today with a MSRP of 149 euros in selected markets across Asia, Europe, Latin America, North America and Oceania. While moto buds will be available in the coming weeks, with a starting MSRP 59 euros across selected markets. Additionally, the new moto buds+ in Forest Grey will be available in North America starting April 16 at motorola.com (MSRP: $129.99) and motorola.ca (MSRP: $179.99).
